Rafael Cortés did not become a musician.
Actually, he was born as a musician.

He received his first –handmade- guitar at the tender age of three as a gift from his grandfather.
As Rafael was 14 years old, a professional guitar teacher terminated his guitar lessons with the words, there was nothing left he could have taught him.

Since this day, Rafael’s love of guitars has never left hold of him.

Today, with only 33 years, he is ranked as one of the most promising talents among the international Flamenco scene. His personal development of perfectionising his musical and technical skills was coronated by collaborations on stage and in the studio with such huge stars as Domingo Patricio, “guitar god” Paco de Lucia, Javier Baronand and Maria Serrano.

Cortés’ sold out live shows end regularly with standing ovations and to fill his audience and the press with enthusiasm comes really easy to him. Everybody who likes latin music mixed with modern jazz elements will be inspired and fascinated by Cortés’ talent & skills.
